Hi, i've had this car for a couple years, it's had a couple previous owners, k reg, 90k on the clock, about 1 month of tax, and not much more of m.o.t.
Needs a service as brake disks are rubbing .. good tyres.
Good stereo, custom shelf with 6x9's, 10 disk changer.
immobiliser with key/plug to enable electronics, alarm (not connected after halfords guy couldn't replace battery properly).

Probs listed as follows:

5th gear sometimes pops into neutral on motorway / excess of 85mph.
all other gears are fine.

dashboard does not illuminate when headlights are turned on. (relay?)
Also, trip computer (inc. fuel gauge) resets everytime car is switched off .. this happened since guy at halfords changed the battery - cable not connected ? It also needs calibrating everytime it's switched on but i never bother as i only drive it about once every other week and that's just round the corner so i always know how much fuel is in there.

passenger door lock broken into, not useable with key but door locks/opens fine with c.locking.
Also, electronic key broken a longtime ago, i had metal kets cut and just use them now as replacment e.key quoted at £80 (yeah right).

Body / Interior Condition:
cracked front plastic grill - one side missing, 1 patch of rust above rear passenger wheel hub, worn driver seat (usual place), messy job of front jbl speaker addition in doors (my handy work with jigsaw and polly-filla, grey spray paint) ..sounds good though, 1 rear side ashtray has fallen through, the boot lid can't hold itself up (new pistons?), alloys messy with 3 hub things missing - 4th is plastic.

Other than that - the car runs like a beauty .. i'm sure it's all stuff you lot could fix in an instant or at least have a good idea what needs to be done - i however haven't a clue.

reason for sale - i live in south west london, and am moving into the city in December (no car zone). Also my insurance is just runing out and i don't want to pay for another year.

i'll sort photos on gumtree.com shortly and modify this add.

£250
price negotiable ... offers will be considered.

Thanks - jt.

turn the ignition on, on the speedo where the trip reading is, the black knob thing for restting the trip meter, turn it to the right and hold it there for a couple of seconds, your trip computer / fuel gauge etc will now be reset and working again
