Hi peeps got my eye on a rather mint looking 19 RSI dont really know alot about these can anyone give me any info on them please. Performance wise how do they compare to the valvers are they rare as this is what i have been led to beleive by the owner or is he talking poo. what extras do they come with that sort of thing.

Thanks for the help

yes they are rare and no they are not as fast as a 16V.

Higher torque on the RSI but over 20bhp down, roll on in 5th at 70 will prob be better in the rsi but a 16v driven as it should be will hammer it.

Unless you stick it in a lightweight shell and do some tinkering.

Nice cars though

No its not the blue one on ebay although that one is really nice, the bloke wants £495 for it if anyones interested in it. The one im looking at is just around the corner from me its red with 62k on the clock and shit load of service history full mot and a couple of months tax left, had a look around it and a test drive and all seems very good. Just wanted some info on them before i take the plunge as i would prefer a valver in blue or a white chamade valver.

Thanks

in all honesty I would imagine an rsi is gonna have been much better looked after than the 16V!

RSI is looking good as i do need reliability above performance at the mo until my R5 conversion is sorted, Then i will have all the fun i need in my 5. So what does the RSI have that the 16v doesnt or the 16v have that the RSI doesnt apart from the power difference? Is it just interior trim and extra doors?

Thanks for the help
