Well the light on the dash comes on to let me know there's a problem. Brake pedal travels to the floor and gives very very slight stopping power (enough to hold the car on the hill).

The pump doesn't prime when the car is turned on or when you press the brake pedal. No leaks anywhere that I can see and I'm defo not loosing fluid.

What else do you need to know? I don't know what to look for really

I didn't think the leather was going to help much. Mind you the whole car aint really worth much these days. I just don't want to be the one to kill off a 449 blue ph1 Crying or Very sad

so the pump doesn't prime. That could be the contacts playing up. COuld be the motor.

Unplug the motor power switch, thsi is ont he passenger side above the box btw, stick a multimeter in to see if theres voltage to the plug.

If there isn't then this could be the plug or if your really lucky the earth on its ECU in the passenger side scuttle.

Also you can bleed the master cyl with the engine in, 8mm deep socket onto the nipples. They both point up, my hatches breaklews worked but some air came out of 1 side when I bled it.

You know, it could actually be the plug. Just occured to me that this problem has developed since that damn rad hose split any sprayed boiling shitty water throughout the engine bay. I'll check on that when I get home (fingers crossed)

Although with my luck it's likely to be far more sinister than that.

BTW if you have any piccys of where I should be looking that you can put a nice big red circle on (so I know where) that'd be awesome as I know you've had engines out etc so figured youd be the man to ask.

Yeah I thought mine would last as well. If it don't meet the reserve I'm sure I'll be able to scrape back at least £250 for parts. Parents have given me until the end of September to either sell it or scrap it.

Was gonna check the connections like Chris suggested but was absolutely slinging it down last night so I stayed dry and left the car for today.

Well I have sent a last chance offer to the highest bidder, my parent are piling on the pressure to get rid as my mums new civic arrives this week. Basically I'm gonna let it go for the highest bid £150 Crying or Very sad plus an extra £50 for the other parts i have. If they don't go for it I will be stripping it.......quickly too. Should know by tonight mate, I'll let you know.

Having sent a couple of e-mails to and from I think I will probably end up breaking the car now. the guys that bid highest want to come down on Sunday, fix it and drive it away Shocked

Not liking the idea of, "we've got the parts to fix it", they break it more than already. then can't fix it and don't pay up. + No tax and they wana drive it away! (Sounds dodgy to me)

I'm goin to chat to my mum see if she's ok with it being home for a couple more weeks. You guys may well be in luck.
