Bought this as a runaround until i get somethin fast!

1.4 energy, 64k

RSi spec so electric windows, remote central locking, 16v interior and spoiler/skirts.

I have a timing belt and tensioner to go when i get round to it as its done the 64k on its original belt and should've been changed at 50 Rolling Eyes

Also needs some tax and test!

I'm thinking about fitting the koni's and brakes from my old 16v (http://www.retro-renault.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2)but i'm not sure yet

Took it down to work with me today to fit the drivers side window regulator and timing belt. Got into it on the street and she started first time despite sittin there for over a month. Drove up to the street and came to the crossroads and the brake pedal hit the floor, not good! Got it to the garage and put some brake fluid in, theres brakes now but they need to be bled before so goes on the road. Discovered a water leak (from the rad i think) and a split rack gaitor when toppin up the fluid.

Had the reg fitted in no time so i stripped down the passenger door aswell to free up a sticky lock, all 4 locks are nice and free now

While the sun was shinin i thought i'd give it a wash. Gave it a good scrub and power washed the engine...went to move it and it wouldn't start, no problem i though just a little water. Got the air-line and dried out the plugs, leads and dizzy cap. Still wouldn't start. Dried them all again, still not starting. Looked at the petrol gauge...oops! 5 quid later she was runnin sweet!

Went to park it up to start at the timing belt and heard an awful pop and grinding noise. Feckin alternator belt snapped and got wrapped around the pulley, won't do the timing belt now till i get 2 new aux belts.

Also noticed today that she has the 16v carpet in it, well impressed!
