Right then i am having a couple of small probs with my R5.

1) drivers side rear drum locks up when handbrake is applied and then released and also can lock randomly when reversing but fine when going forwards. What do you think?

2) drivers side front wheel bearing needs to be replace i think as i have play in the wheel when grabbed and wiggled at the 6 O'clock and 1/4 to 3 positions. How much would i expect to pay a garage to replace this as i have looked at the Haynes manual and they say its a job for a garage and i only have a moddest tool set.

Advice as always much appreciated.

If it is a wheel cylinder wont it be leaking fluid? as it doesnt seem to be leaking anything. will have a look later in the week as i thought it could be the shoes may need replacing or a return spring may be broke.

Thanks for the reply

1) missing resturn springs ont he shoes

2) anywhere between 50 and 200 quid it would seem the average. I do it a lot cheaper than 200 though. If your luck a garage might charge a tenenr if you take the hub off and grind off the inner race fromt eh hub flange o they just need to press th eold outer out an dthe new inner in
