Just checked my bank balance online. I have precisely 72p to my name, and a cupful of coppers on my window-sill.

I need to pay off over £100 on my credit card within the next 7-days.

Had a weekend off work due to food poisoning so this month's wages will be down by a quarter.

Pay-day is in 2 weeks and 2 days time so that 72p is gonna have to last me. This months wages wont pay the next lot of rent, let alone give me anything to live off!

Monthly mobile phone bill will be coming through in the next week or so.

Not looking too good is it?! Sad

A trip to the bank tomorrow I think, see if they will allow me an extension on my overdraft.

Then maybe a call into the Student Services Centre at Uni, see if they can help me out!

I know some people think us students have it all good, but trust me - when you've no petrol in the car, your 2 hours from home, have a can of minced beef and a tin of 4-year old Chilli flavoured hot-dogs to feed you for a week and have only 72p in the bank, it's suddenly not that good a life!

Oh, and to top it all off I've got the flu as well and feel rough as a badgers arse.

Ouch.
I feel your pain Ben. Im broke all the time. Except the first few days per
month until i pay the bills Laughing
I work one and a half job (12-14 hours per day) and get paid well. But that doesn't cover my expenses Rolling Eyes
Maybe its because my wife is depressed and cant work. We live
in our own apartment (=expensive) and i also have two daughters....

Ps. Im only 23 Confused

Geez man, that's tough. But respect to you for keeping going. It must be tough having family countin' on you.
