A14LNC's R5 GTT

heres a few pics of Alans gtt, he came over today fgor me to change the wheel bearings, sadly it never went to plan. As the strut to hub bolts broke so I will get new ones for hiom so he can come over next saturday and we can do the bearings.

Also he wanted to see what 17's would be like on the car so my 17 Allesioas went ont he passenger side. Pics as usual not great due to camera phone.

Alan will be along and give you the rundown on the cars spec.

yeah, some bugger who passes me everyday on the way to work in a R5 has the horrible piss colour ones on permanently, fog, rain, shine, whatever. Twat.

his has fogs recessed into the bumpers which are horrible and non stadard. You can see where they sit in the last pic if you look

hey i have the yellow fogs on the clio!

plus i prefer the 5 spoke alloys in my opinion.

nice car but too small and round for my taste .
looks much better with 5 spokes
i got yellow fogs as well ,would prefer clear ones to match with the headlights though

Alright girls n boys, heres how it goes:

BODYWORK:

Bumpers r crap as u can see but they wer already on the car so tough shit there then, yes the front Standard bumper had fogs but that aint there so the front bumper that is on it had the holes so i put in aftermarket ones, like the (bluey) colour u get on merc headlights (not that cheap taky blue) they give off a pretty bright glow and make the car look mint at night (not that i drive about with them on). Bodywork in general is good allround, a spot of rust on the passenger door at the bottom corner and a bit next to the draining hole at the back window, but again nothing major, the sills for etc r in gr8 con and the roof trim and rest of the car is good, even in the inside behind the backlights is good no rust there even though they r prone to rusting there. Apart from that u can c that it has a full Bodykit if u include the Sideskirts as they r standard, its bn Delocked to and smoothed over with remote central locking (alarm)

INTERIOR:

Yes as u no big Chris H burst my driver seat (only kiddin lol), no its starting to fray at the side but have to admitt it wosnt like that wen i got the car, the car is in good nic inside and still as standard, nothing major
has gone on in here as of yet!

ENGINE:

The engine runs gr8 and is in good con, a bit messy under the hood (that was after the engine fire) but nothing major was damaged (report on this in NOT STARTING), i got a Grp A carb and tidy'd it up a bit, still has those stupid illuminis yellow Samco hoses on it and red ones too witch i want rid off becoz i want blue ones (HINT HINT must b cheap). It has a pipercross air filter on it witch i was supposed to change today but didnt get round to it, i hav over Â£1000 in turbo equipment if you include the actuator n stuff from gtt tunning (there highest spec one) as the turbo on it just now is letting oil into it coz the seals r away i need to get my bearings done so i can go all the way up to Fife as that is wer P.C.S the tuner is based for Scotland so i will collect another turbo just now untill i safe up enough money to hav the engine bored out and drop the other turbo in. it has a manual fan switch so can b ran on cold in the summer. Its has NGK Tipless Grandpix Racing sparks and rediculously priced Magnecor Competition leads. It has a Grp A Dnmp valve (GT Tunning) an Alloy Intercooler and shity GT Tuinning turbo heat sheild (witch caused a the fire in the engine bay). It has a "2 1/4" Magnex staight through zorst system. Apart from that iv bought everything new for everything iv needed to replace ie: Water pump, alternater, starter, filters and so on. The car is regularly seviced.

WHEELS:

15/195/45 FOX Racing

So thats pretty much it then!

i quite like the 17s but would need to c how low i could get it even 16s would do!

U cant c them well in those pics better pics hopfully next Sat with the right number plate on (its still A14 LNC only spaced to suit my name A14LN C).

brill, gets some interior pics as well if ya can. you have blue dials?

think that wud look pretty smart if ya had them.

with black needles and digits if poss.

I hav white dials and a boost gauge i 4 got to mention, the boost gauge is on the right hand side of the steering wheel in a little space on the dash, looks well trick!
