I used to have the pipercorss cossie RS500 filter on my first blue hatch donkeys ago.

Was one of the cheapest filters to, 49.99, 19's was double that back in the day!

Does the size of the cone matter? You see all sortsa different moderations to the cone for sepcific cars. Does all that really effect anything. Surely the more air your gettin in the better?

I got a K n N cone on mine, sounds lovely low down. Pipercross just screams

Just thinking. wouldn't having that much air pouring into the engine fek up the fuel air ratio a bit? Wouldn't you need to change the mix? or the ECU/fuel mapping or something?

long pipe to the floor with a big max power filter is all you need £5 on ebay and 10mins in the scrappy ''buying'' some pipe Wink

breathers vent any pressure that canbuild up in the crankcase...but for emissions reasons it shouldn't be vented to the atmosphere, so they plumb it back into the inlet system, so it goes back thru the engine and out the tailpipe...
