HI FOLK HOPE U CAN CAN HELP I AVE A 97 MAXIM SPORT AND WAS LOOKING TO FIND MY iaT SENSOR I THINK IT IS LOCATED NEW MY INDUCTION KIT BUT AM UNSURE OF ITS EXACT LOCATION WOULD ANY OF U KIND PLP LIKE TO HELP ME OUT, PICS WOULD BE GR8, BUT SO WOULD A GOLD PLATED TOILET SEAT BUT EH WHO SAYS ITS GONNA HAPPEN LOL

well if its SPI then its mounted on the throttle body., in front of the injector.

Why do you want to know? let me guess you have been on ebay buying crap haven't you?

i had changed my ECU to a hill power remapped jobby and originally got sent the wrong ECU then changed back to original and the casr running like a piece of sh1t

so you have swapped back to the original ECU and now the problem is there?

The ait on the SPI's is generally reliable. However they do get covered in oil so clean it and see if it helps. Covered in oil it will be slow to react to temp changes.

But if its knackered then get a 2nd hand SPI body.

tried cleaning it so looks like the cheque book is to come out for a new one grrr, cheers chris
