anyone know how hard it is to DIY install a clifford alarm... one with the intellistart remote start thingy. Obviously the dash will have to come out, no problems there. Whats the wiring like? Easy to suss? Any R19 wiring guides available?

easy mate, wiring not hard to figure out either.

If you DIY it you may do it right but it won't be certified, remoter starts etc are not what you want.

Right then.

Who will be the first to "borrow" Chris' "rarely locked" car.

Move it down the road perhaps!!

Did this to a friend, except i had a key he didn't know about. Kept moving it about 10 feet further up the road. When he came out in the morning he was always a bit curious.

Bloody funny (had to be there moment)

sorry to resurrect this but can anyone get hold of the wiring guides for clifford or toad alarms? I have one for the clifford concept 300 now, kindly provided by someone off RSC who shall remain nameless, but it is in dutch. I can pretty much figure it out but it would be nice to have it in english so i can be sure of what im doing.

Is there some kind of secret clifford site where they keep all their install guides and only give the address to official installers?

Anyone?

Dom?

What do you need? I know allthe wire codes/colours on the renault loom.

Also using alarm fitters guides will only make it so the cars easy to steal and a shoddy install.
