Seems to me like you acting a knob ed behind her, your car would outbrake her by about 20% atleast, so i think you were tailgating her and putting her underpressure, the speed limit is a ceiling not a target. If it was a good over-taking spot as you say, you wouldnt of needed a run up to overtake her, simply to go in the other lane and then put your foot down.. Its dick heads like you that killed my sister in a similar incident, if that was my mum/sister/daughter you would now be in a coma.

That’s a bit harsh considering you weren't there Cockney.

My condolences for the tragic loss of your sister, but lets keep it civil mate.

Yes, he has a point, "if" that is what actually happened.

Seeing as none of us were there and we only have one person’s perspective on the events, it seems quite shallow to try to put all the blame on to him.

I personally think it’s a bit harsh to “out of the blue” start calling people “knob’s” and “dick heads” but if that’s the way you want it to go round here I’m happy to oblige?

Now taking all the personal crap out, yes he has a point. This point is based on speculation though and doesn’t take into account any of the conditions that were present that day.

So yes, it’s a point although a loose and very general one.

fix the car and sell it. Pay off your debt to your mum.

If you have to sort the 19 out. Or go buy a cheap 1.4 clio/19 or something.

Get rid of the 172 as thats you smacked it 3/4 times now and its not gonna get any better.

Cars will get you a criminal record and a fucked life if you carry on, look at me, thats what you don;t want.

Im retaxing the clio end of the month, as i need a car, not going to repair it, then build the engine, and stick it in the 19, and then get a tax refund from the clio and tax the 19 back on the road.

When the clio is off the road i will repair it.

cockney, it seems you have a bit of a raw nerve, even some of the witnesses to the accident have said it was her fault for braking, im sure your sister didnt slam on the brakes and get killed like that, if you were there then fine i would take critisism from you, but the fact is, you wernt, you dont know the road, conditions, other factors to it, so i personally think you should keep it to yourself.

what do you need a car for?

Wheres the black clio 16v?

You need to sort out the damage on the clio as it will cause hassle and then get worse.

It doesn't get better it will only get worse if you leave it and get yourself into more hassle.

the black clio doesnt have any tax, and the fuel pump is fecked. i need a car to get to work. Everything still works, on the 172 and its goiing to be less than a month that im driving it for as the 19 will be back very soon now.

I think binning it off NOW is the best idea mate. Its been nothing but hassle.

Look at when we were nearly killed going back to Rowerdennan by that sideways mini bus.

That car attracts it mate, best thing to do is bin it off asap.

Road conditions affect braking distances do they not? Part of driving a car is allowing for other peoples stupidity/infirmity/immaturity!

I agree with Chris, ditch the clio and get a 1.4!
