On me way home from town today and I get to some traffic lights. There's a nice silver clio 172 infront of me and I'm thinking to myself hmm I bet that's quick.....so when the lights turn to green, he floors it away as if to prove a point like 'my renault is faster than urs' lol......so I go after him, purely out of curiosity to see if I could keep up like.......and.......well I was really surprised. I would've expected to not really be able to keep up with a smaller, more powerful car very easily......but I actually wanted him to get out of me way most of the time! It was like driving behind an oil tanker aswell, it just seemed to be all over the road like bouncing everywhere....was painful to watch almost, and I was stuck to the ground like a bitch.

Pretty pointless post really, I just thought the 172's were better than this one seemed to be! Maybe he just couldn't drive or something. I would've thought they'd be the quicker car like? Ah well, he smashed one of me bloody headlights by flicking a stone into it anyway. Bastard! Was gonna put a pic up, but uploadit.org seems to have vanished off the face of the earth! Plus I'm sure you all know what a smashed headlight looks like anyway lol

the biggest problem with it is torque steer, and it also tramps the wheels alot. but they're reasonably quick, mine is doing 6.2 0-60's.

I have done a few of them, you always outrun them top end in a 19 anyway.
