Probably a publicity stunt tbh.
"Oh look, new harry Potter film due out soon, lets cause a stir and remind everyone of Harry Potter".

I remember going to a show where the James Bond Aston Martin DB5 was there, i was kinda chuffed with myself that id seen the car that was in the film and Sean Connery had driven only to find out later that it was not the original DB5 and a replica 
The original DB5 was auctioned some years ago by the film company and some rich dude from Florida bought it, then in he had it stolen from him in 1996 and its never been seen since, funny thing was that it was stolen from an airport hanger on an island just off Florida and the Police sealed off the island but never found it, Hmmm, probably in some guys "stolen" car collection underground somewhere or in some lounge of a rich arab,
must be shit to have one of the most famous cars in the world and not be able to do anything with it |
