Just been looking at the pics of Ross's 19 16v (very nice!) and the 'arty' pic he had of his bonnet vent reminded me of some pics I took in work a few weeks back. I wanted like a rain drops type effect for a design I was doing, and so I went round sprayin water on things like saucepan lids, sheets of aluminium, windows, bits of perspex, etc.........and nothing seemed to be working. Then I thought of trying to spray water on a vehicle. We were currently doing a van that was parked in the yard so I tried spraying some water on it's bonnet and taking a pic. This is what I got.....
Quite a cool pic, but......the paint is very...um.....'flat' kinda thing. Just blue, nothing to it at all. So then I thought I'd try it on a different vehicle.......MINE. Sprayed some water on me bonnet, took a pic and I ended up with this........
Paint work is much more interesting innit! Nice & glittery & sparkly. Lush pic I thought. Not that it's very 'arty', but thought I'd show u all anyway cuz I'm bored and I like pics! Worked well in me design too. Legend  |

Haha, great minds and all that
I really like the top one though. It looks really quality.
The second one looks like there's sand in the water if you see what I mean. |
