If you press the throttle pedal in very slightly, the revs will drop and the car will nearly conk out like. It's like the first tiny bit of the throttle actually makes the revs drop, but press it down further and it's okay like. Only seems to do it when it's cold aswell. I'm not too fussed about it but I'm thinking it might be related to a few other weird things I got goin on, like a backfiring-a-lot-more-than-usual exhaust & it seems to be doing about 4mpg! I did just read another post about poor mpg, but I'm don't think anything mentioned in there is wrong with my car. I've not long had a new CTS, so I doubt it's that. I've never changed the lambda sensor, so I'm thinking that might be knackered? But chris said a busted lambda sensor wouldn't cause the car to backfire, so I dunno. Only recently it's started doing all these things, there wasn't a point where I changed something and THEN it started happening like. Hmmm Confused

I had a new TPS aswell lol. Sorry forgot to mention that. That would be for the firs bit of the throttle making the revs go down yeah? Not the backfiring etc? I'll try unplugging it tho Chris. The TB is clean, and I've also had a new ICV lol. Maybe I'm just gettin dodgy parts lol. But yeah, lambda is the only thing I have actually got here waiting to be changed, but haven't been arsed doin it yet like

Try to clean the PMS sensor. It´s located on the engine´s steering, and may be dirty by the clutch´s dust & metallic particles.
This, turn a inestable ralentí.
Its mounted under the thermostat, and just have two 11 mm. bolts and unplug her cable to the ignition module to dismantle it.
To clean only needs a piece of cotton, because is only dust, and the device is magnetic.

Is simple, cheap ( clean it= $0 ), and most people underestimate this fail Confused .
