Have a bit of a mare at the mo'

Replaced the start motor a while ago due to lazy starting, next problem with battery, so replaced that, then my battery light came on, rev over 5.5k it would go out. decided to change alternator, (dontated by Neo), when I started the car up after fitting alternator no battery light!

got a multimeter on alternator showed it was charging then stopped, then started showing it was charging again.

Drove 20 miles today and switched of engine OK, left it for 20 minutes, slow to start up again got home went to start it dead!

Any Ideas?

Stereo, alarm, interior/boot light are worth checking to make sure there not draining the battery when you leave the car!

iffy connection it sounds to me.

Or the alts duff or the wiring has melted.

the alt won't put out a charge unless the wee wires int eh brown plug are ok or if the fuse has popped, 2nd form the left int he box int he =middle row I think.
