On the megane i just aquired the head gasket had gone, thus leaving the cooling system coated in a brown oily mess. the coolant has been changed since i got the car (came out clear and green) but the system is still coated in this brown mess.
how do i clean the system ??? |

flush it with water as much as possible. The put some washign powder in it then run it for a day or 2 then drain it again.
It bubbles up lovely. |

used persil liquid (three capfuls) in the system for two days removed the bottom hose, all the muck and gunk just flowed out. put a hose in the expansion tank and washed the system right out.
All really clean, and smells nice too
