I have to say though it does look more like a dark grey one from the piccys

i am afraid its dark grey mark not black at all . a black parcel shelf looks balck in any picture mate .
i would ask for more pictures from the seller

well i was sayin my hatch should have one but has a grey one....if it goes for cheap and it IS black i might get it

the only one i have seen on a ph2 hatch was really black ,i dont think that shelf would look as grey as this in any light condition .

It's black. Look at the picture, it's well overexposed.

The other telltale way you know it is black is the bit of the description which says "finished in black carpet"

i am just talking about what i see rather than what it says on the description ,
fair enough if you say a black parcel shelf can look that grey with a wrong exposure .

yes i do say overexposure can do that. Over expose it enough and it will look white...
