yep its got a neddy spoiler on the back but that can be sorted lol

yep thought so, just gave him a call and the reserve is £1200

yikes !

Mileage on this car is 95,000

included with the auction thou is a 2nd engine, full set of the original wheels, 2 heads, alternators, starter motors etc, basicly clearing out his shed as this is his 2nd R19 and he is going on to a suberau.

It's unanimous.. that spoiler looks crap and it needs a standard one... god knows what holes will have been drilled to fit it though...

There are some things that you should not do, anyone remember when people put the cossie "whale tail" spoilers on there 1.3ltr MK3 escorts, then tried to sell them saying they where cossie replica's Shocked Confused Shocked Confused

Im defo all for personalising whats yours with your own wee siganture's, but .......

no mechancial issues, just some rust in the usual places

I nearly stuck in a bid for that! Seem to be a few affordable ones for me, but wouldn't bid for one now, given the amount I've spent recently on the MOT and other odds and sods for it!

thats a nice car but mine will look better and first of all it will be cleaner when its finished .

nah, did not get it, it went over what i was prepared to pay for it.

to be honest neo ,i would not pay anything over 200 quid for it ,cause at the end of the day whatever j reg car you buy ,you will have to do work on it and you will have to be ready for nasty surprises as well .

i was prepared to pay £250 for it and of course it would need stuff doing to it lol, part of the fun of buying it in the first place.
my H reg 19 has needed a lot less caring for than my L reg 19 lol.
since i got it MOTed last year its only prob has been the diff circlip and a split bottom hose. (i'm now changing the gearbox on it to hopefully cure the diff circlip prob)
the L plate on the other hand has needed loads doing to it to keep it on the road.
