Why is it you only ever get the flu on a weekend?

I got home on Friday at 2pm so I was looking forward to getting some work done on the cars. But no, as soon as I had my first beer and a 5 minute sit down I get cold chills, nasty aches and start feeling crappy!

Doing the dieing man act I went to bed and let the wife look after me. (Hoping to be better in the morning) but it wasn't to be, my temperature stayed at 103 until Monday morning when it broke. (Typical!)

Still feeling a bit crappy I then had to use a days holiday to get yesterday off work as the army doctors live under the impression that if there's no temperature then there is nothing wrong with you.

pah!

fecking flu!
