Sorry mate dunno what size the nuts are, but a word of warning - when I had to have my front flexi pipes done for the MOT, the union nuts just span and span and the garage I went to had to put in several feet of new metal pipework from each wheel to the master cylinder. I wouldn't have wanted to do that myself.

So watch out! Smile

halfords sell the spanner. the spanner comes with the 10mm and 11mm ends.

Its 10mm you need.

rear flexi pipes on the open rear axle are a real bugger compared to the lowly closed 1.4 type axle. Anyway both are on the drivers side just in front of the tank and nigh on impossible to undo.

feck sake nout ever goes like the fecking haynes manual says

the union going into the rear caliper is 11mm and the spaner goes on perfect but as soon as i try and turn it, it just starts rounding, which is stupid its a perfect nut i also running out of wd40, any tips on gettnig these bastards out ??

also the lug holding the outer cable seems diff on mine to the ones in my hand these i could see an outer bit around the rubber bung gaurding the cable, which i could tap and the lug would come out but on mine there doesnt seem to be that outer lug do i just pull the cable through of is it behind the rubber guard should i just keep smacking with a hammer?

you know the hand brake cable goes behind the caliper through a hiole then clips on to the ahndbrake level arm thing on the caliper, well i cant get it out of the hole on the back of the caliper

yeah common prob, heat that up to. Even then the caliper will no doubt break right off or chunks of it will.

use a hammer and punch to remove it or a good screwdriver.

Hopefully you'll be lucky, don't belt away in 1 place move roundf the cable but liek I said be prepared for bits to break off.

look in the bis valve tech article in the tech articles forum, the bias valve is where the flexis start, near the fuel filter.
