I've just bought one which is meant for a Vauxhall Zafira, just because (ignoring the fact that one appears to be machined to shape and the other cast) it looks remarkably similar and was cheap.

yea, it should be ok. You may have to bastardise some of the fitments but it should work.

Personally I think you're being a bit reckless investing faith in an important part meant for another car because it looks 'remarkably similar' and was cheap!

what are you on about??? it looks better built to me if anything.

and also apparently most of them have seized up on old cars anyway!
