I'm having some issues with my brakes at the moment, they are terrible and have been since the master cylinder was replaced last year after going in a big way and I wanted to get clued up before I tackle it.
The garage also replaced the bias valve. Could it be possible that this hasn't been set-up properly? Or are they set at the factory?
I've bled the brakes several times and I'm at a bit of a loss as to why they are so shite, as they were pretty good before.

same problem for me, also check the flexible hoses, make sure theyre not collapsed |

Got braided on there and they are all fine.
I have a new master cylinder to go on, as I think the one that the garage used might not have been the right one, the metal bracket that goes around the bottom of it against the bulkhead, doesn't fit properly, so that is the first thing to do.
How would I check if the bias valve is set properly?
and how would I know if the servo is functioning properly?

There is a section on the bias valve in the knowledge base here, and basically as far as the servo is concerned not sure, put your foot on the pedal, start the car up and see if the pedal goes down abit. |

chances are the bias valve was not open when it was bled trappign air in.
as for the servo pump it and the pedal should get hard, press it then start the car it shoudl fall away a bit. |

cable tie it.
cable tie round it, it makes it appreat closed if that makes sense, the arm swings out to close it and back in to open. |
