breaking the black 1.8 rt

right ,i decided to break the 1.8 rt SPI in the end ,due to fecked clutch ,cracked windscreen and blowing midbox
most parts available if i can get them out of course ,pm me for prices details etc

just wondering at this point if a 1.8 8v head would sit on the 1.4 block at all ?????

why? Really why put a shite head on an engine with an already far superior head and make it worse?

Anyway if the front bumper irons in the middle are the same as a ph1 I'll have them if possible!

its a black metal bracket fixed to the front of the car, its where the bumper bolts on at the front, just under the headlights.

Can you not fix the car and sell it?

How bads the clutch? bodge it to sell it?

will have a look sometime and try to figure out what it is chris.

i can probably fix the clutch ,the windscreen and the exhaust but than 187k o the clock does not help with the price.
i may be better of sellng the bits and bobs in time

just looked on ebay saw it there.

If your deffo breaking it send me the throttle body for meddys, will pay of course!

still lazing about it to be honest ,i have not got the time to break it straight away anyway
a guy of ebay wants the fuel pump as well ,is it tricky to get the fuel tank out????

cut the floor and take the pump out, quickest easiet way. about 15 mins or the real way is drop the tank and hope the bolts etc don't all break.

And I can't see you stripping the inlet off boring out the manifold to suit etc.

if it does will the 1.4 throttle body fit on the head as well ????????

no it wont and if you could fit the 1.8 hea don the 1.4 you would probably lose at least 20bhp its that shite.

the 1.8 TB will bolt on and it will run, but the 1.4's manifold will need borted out to accept it.

south coast barton on sea mines a 16v executive

washers don#t work and i revesed into my houe the other day and scrapped down the drivers door.

mine hasn't got a trip computer
i think the ones that did it operated from trhe washer stalk did on my 2.0 megane anyway
