The dust seal on one of my calipers is in bits...should I get a seal kit (can I only get this from Renault) or just get another caliper from the scrappy?

seal kit from renault will do the job, its a common failing tbh.

If the calipers fine and the pistons not corroded theres no point getting a calipe rformt eh scrappy that might be in worse condition!

seal kits not cheap though, you can help matters by fillign the seal with rubber grease, stosp water getting in.

So I can only get the seal kits from Reno then? They've quoted me roughly 30 quid Shocked (full set, both sides)!

I replaced my calipers and got new seales with them free.

Cost me about £20 a side for recond calipers, thats including a £15 per caliper trade in against my old ones.

Man did it stop sharp after that.
