you may think its crap mate but thats life.

Ben wouldn't give me the info if I asked, well he probably would but he would expect information from me in return.

SOrry johhny, ask anything else like which way to go with the figues.

But either way, its what works best with me, you might not find it that helpful and you might find going in another direction better suiting you.

its a real sorry state when people get bagged for asking questions. some ppl have got big egos, and they use them to there advantage, like leaving short answers to questions - trying to be a smart arse. or helping sum1 underatand sumthing, but then at the end, leaving out some useful info that every1 cudv benefited from becus itl affect "business".i dont think telling ppl wat the best cam timing figures r will ruin ur customer base! wat complete bollocks that is!

get a life and stop being so childish.

this shud be a place for sharing info, not one up-manship.

il prolly get banned, or watever, but who wants to be part of a forum thats run by the gestapo?

my thoughts exactly....i wasnt particularly fussed about the answer hence why i said that even if i didnt need to know would it matter...just wanted to see how far id be led on until "I" was held to blame for annoying ppl.

And where does it say that it becomes part of an ego or one upmanship where i simply dont want to supply info.

I'm not about to tell you direct seat angles and widths for my cylinder heads, and i'm not about to tell you the exact cam timing.

WHy should i put it up openly on the net. Your more than welcome to email piper/Kent to ask their stock settings as they are required to give it to you.

I've answered everything you need ot know how and why, you have your normal cam timing figures, you have access to email the factory.

I said in my last post 'm willing to point Jonny in the right direction, but NO.....as soon as the actual figures are deffo not comming out nobody cna be bothered to ask or think themselves.

Sorry i cant hold you hand and show u all the way, i've been more than forthcoming with info in ALL circumstances, you dont talk to anybody else in such a free manner.

i charge about 300 quid, but with the timing figures comes a free set of cams, labour for the install and setup!

Ben has every right to hold back any info he wants and i hope you can all understand that. He's been more than helpful on any forum i've come across his name on. Sure, try get whatever info you want from the man but don't badger him. I was goin to leave the sticky up but i honestly see no need for it so its gone. Ben, (or anyone else involved in the tuning industry) if you feel you're bein hassled by anyone let me know by PM

I agree with most of what jimbo said and i know who it was aimed at. Certain people on here have a "holier than thou" attitute towards people who may not be an expert when it comes to engine mechanics. I know for a fact some are afraid to ask a question for fear of the patronising reply they'll get.

No matter how stupid a question may seem to you the person that asked obviously simply DOES NOT KNOW THE ANSWER. Nobody should be afraid to ask a question and nobody should look down on them for having less knowledge.
