another problem to add to my list. yesterday i managed to replace my downpipe and gaskets, dogbone and the anti roll bar wasnt connected at all! so i got the droplinks and re-fit. it was driving like a dream last night until i had to make the three minute drive to my girlfriends then SNAP the cambelt went on me. how much damage could this have done? if its done too much then would i be better doing a conversion to maybe an rsi engine?
the car is a renault clio RT btw
Thanks for help in advance

would the rsi engine be less hassle to fit than the valver? is the RT and the rsi suspension and driveshafts not the same?

bent valves are a ceretainty.

yes the rsi is less hassle and I have everything you need for sale for £150.

Shafts are the same and suspension is mor eor less the same, different spring rates but you wouldn't notice it.

Just convert the full lot to 16V suspension best mod you can do cheaply.

on the v5 there is a section thats for engines, you put in capacity and engine number and send it off to the dvla. obviously you need to tell the insurance and then pay the higher road tax rate as its over 1.5 litres.

Its very simple actually.

No one else is buying it so far so its not going anywhere mate.

Got the ECU, pump, and so on for it.
