to be honest i want to bypass that fecking midbox but due to the shape of the exhaust that does not seem to be an easy job

i have seen that flexi wrap thingy before but never used ,lookin at the picture it seems to be the right sort of thing for the job.

the exhaust sounds so noisy now with that hole and the car doesnot seem to accelerate as it used to Rolling Eyes

Coke or beer can, a few pop rivets and a load of gun gum.

Got another 14 months from my exhaust thanks to my drinking lol

Hmmmm coke can...wonder if that would work on mine. I've got a hole in one of the pipes coming out of my mid section. It's pissing me right off coz the rest of the huge bit section of exhaust including the box itself is spotless!

bloody hell, you got rivets handy?

Pick the appropriate rivet for the nozzle hole.

Stick the long bit of th erivet in the nozzle, pull the lever, watch your fingers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it will break off the long bit and now the rivet head will have squashed up.

Right on a panel, drill a hole through both, stick the rivet head through and pull the lever.

You drill a hole for the pop rivet and put one in

Then you put the 'nozzle' of the rivet gun over the long thin bit sticking out of the rivet and pull the handles together. Let go, slide the gun down again and repeat until the thin bit breaks off. Job done.

the air powered ones and the concertina efforts are great, super easy and lazy, plus you dont trap your fingers etc!
