as the rev counter reads, that rules out the crank sensor, it it trying to fire?

check to see if fuel is at the rail.

id say its a block breather as i found out on rst fez a last year, on the air box there was a little motor ontop of it did something or other wasnt sure tho, but my bossman bodged a breather filter on it and it had blocked the air going into the inlet manifold, or could be the fuel pump something along those lines would be a good starting place

pull the vacuum hose off the regulator and block the hose, then try starting it, the fuel pressure will still be limited to 3bar

auxilary pump is beside the fuel tank, but it wouldnt stop the flow, sounds like a blocked filter/hole in the fuel line etc etc.
