oh yes old cd's, these are mainly bargain bin fodder these days but they are classics. Razz

Kids today don't appreciate the old stuff, David says we are to young to not appreciate pink floyd, lies I say, lies!

Retro tunes are cool. the faces of Soneji and Rustyarchs whilst I blasted Elvis out whilst on the sea front at blackpool is one of my most fond memories, hehehehe

Anyway some cd's I had lying around

Baker street by Gerry Rafferty, a classic album. Mostly good tunes, best track baker street followed by right down the line. Not a really duff track on it.

Billy Joel the stranger, one of his early efforts. Very good again all good tunes, the last couple are a bit poor in comparison to the rest. Best track is scene from an italian restaurant but the strange and vienna are very good as well.

Elton John, well what can you say overweight bats for the other side man who throws tantrums but some good tunes. Rusty will never forget waking up to a duet of Soneji and I singing Your Song returning from England in the car. Your Song and Someone saved my life tonight are the 2 best.

Kate Bush the floppy dancing psycho lady, some great tunes. Wuthering Heights, Wow and Babooshka best 3 on the cd but the rest are very good.

Best line is from Wow - hes to busy hitting the vaseline.

Classics every one of them. If played loudly at a 'young' persons car gathering it can clear a crowd with amazing speed. A good weapon.

I honestly do not know.

I remember I got given new kids on the block lp back in the late 80's! lol

I also remember buying michael jacksons dangerous album when it came out.

Aside from that I just listened to my parents music beforehand really.

how bout some Talking Heads..........Talk Talk...........does anyone remember The crunch by the Rah Band...............Yello ! whats happend to them?since their last album 'Baby' in the 90's they've done nout else Crying or Very sad
WHY ? its good stuff Very Happy Cool
And why dont record companys spend a little more time getting the production on their stuff right instead of churning out good tunes that SOUND crap, tinny, compressed,no soundstage etc.
makes me wonder!!!!!!! mabey its because most people listen to music on shite systems so to them it dosnt matter
But what about the people with good systems? all we hear is the shite recording.......... Evil or Very Mad

WHY CANT I PUT FECKIN PHOTO'S ON ANY MORE Question

I used to be into hi-fi in a big way and yes you could pick out the artists farting etc but like you say it sounds terrible so now I have no hi-fi!

talking heads are ok, my mum used to work in the DSS office with David Byrne back in the 70's.

Road to nowhere and once in a lifetime were their best tunes
