 Changing Milage

If by some miricle I manage to find a replacement dial box for my TD how would I be able to change the milage to what my original said? Just asking as some of my bulb connections on the metal sheet on the back of the dial box have worn away so some of my dash light aren't working.

electric drill on the speedo cable will do it!

Does that work in reverse too?

I always thought that was limited to the Matilda book I read at school!

What about sawdust in the gearbox? lol
