I have a 1.4energy GTS 5 door (Silver) (Totally standard)

I want it to look like a 16v.

Can i just swap over the front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and boot spoiler.

Or are the fitments differant.

I know the headlights are differant, so i could use the indicators in the bumper, but i'm not bothered about that. Or could i get 16v headlights, and use the indicators in the bumper, would that work, or again wrong size shape fitting etc.

All thoughts welcome.

Will it look like a gay copy, or will it look roughly ok. I don't care that it won't be as fast, but i do want it to look quite nice.

Cheers
Ben

bumpers these will go straight on. The 16V bumpers have the indicators already inserted into them. So its just a case of using the headlights for the finished look.

To make it easier though use the 16V lighting loom as this won't stretch the wires making bulb changes a real hassle.

Spoiler, this will go on easy, all you do is drill the lid and bolt it in.

Sideskirts, the holes on the underside of the sill are there but you need to drill the top of the sill and if you really want theres clips that get fitted on the side of the sill (near where the black sill thing is currently).

I Happen to have all these things for sale for a good price. But the 3 door sills will not fit the 5 door shell so you will need chamade sills. Mine are blue but since you will not find a silver 16V whatever you get will need painted anyway.

I also have a full 16V interior as well.

I swapped most of the parts you mentioned over to my ph.I TSE (F3N engine). however, instead of mounting the front bumper I put an Laguna splitter below the original front bumper, as the 16v ones are hard to come by over here.
and you don't really need the rear bumper unless you have a different exhaust. the 16v has got a bigger cut in the bumper for exhaust tip so it may look sh*te with the pea shooter on Wink

there are more subtle 16v mods that I can recommend, front suspension and brakes make a huge difference for example.

here is a pic of my car before and after the mods:

That's a nice 19, best colour too.

Not a fan of crome bits though, but I like that car all the same.

Yep it was on the GTS aswell and looked a mess as it started peeling off on the front bumper at the side.

Although it was a shed, I loved that car to bits...

Its the depth of the bumper, as well as the squareness - looks agressive.
