well if its not missfiring and theres a spark then theres eithe rno fuel or no compresion.

Does it smell like theres unburnt fuel? From the fact its clean i would imagine not.

With the engine running put your finger on the injector, you should feel it clicking. if you can't then theres either a wiring issue or a duff injector.

if it is clicking then it may be clogged and no fuels coming out.

to rule out wiring ungplug the injector harness from the plastic guide and then swap the wires with a neighbouring one. if the missfire moves then its the wiring, if the missfire is still on the same cyl then the injector is clogged.

The clean spark plug smells of petrol I swapped the 2 injector with the third one and it is still not firing on the second cylinder. I had the compression checked a few weeks ago its was perfect after that the car has been sitting on the drive since. there cannot be any way for the valves to go by ticking her over on the drive ??? I am going to take the injector harness of and check it over with a multimeter see if its ok. Any other ideas ????

I hope it will be the gasket I am dreading if it could be a bent valve touch wood. Having it done tomorrow while I am having the sill welded

no for the welding on my sill it was a big job but I used to work there so I had it cheap also I had a new valve on my tyre and sorted the missfire out that was free.

I only go the garage for tyres and finding problems out on my cars I do the work myself.
