a damn sight less than that, my cossie had a 45bhp loss and it was runnign 400 bhp.

Alex's put out 126bhp at the wheel sstandard and thats around the high end for a decent standard motor.

Should be 120 ish bhp at the wheels for stock flywheel power.

But if your tracking was a few miles out then yes it would cause that.

A 30% transmision loss is beyond a joke, if its 4wd and running 8 tyres then yeah 30% is about right.

fwd losses are at most 15%.

Well that's the 4th RR it's had. First one was before I had the car put out 161 bhp. ( Yeah right ! ). then I got 152.1 bhp at E.P. With a broken TPS ( the red wire was broke ). then got 138 at northampton, and 136 at top gear Graph above. that's with a newish TPS that I put on, It's not set right I just put it in around the same place as where the old one came off.

just go by the wheel figures...its the only ones they can measure accurately...everything else is pretty much guesswork.

anything from a r/r is not 100% accurate. the only way to get TRUE performance is from an engine dyno. you can vary it by the tyre pressure by up to 10bhp! you only have to fiddle the ambient temp and pressure to make the readings look good!

JB....Swansea Institue!! we had a new one fitted last summer froma German company. availability is limited cos we have to have a technician with us for H+S....if i do T.B's on the clio i will be mapping it at the uni in Jan

I mind the energy was doing about 120mph not moving in the snow at Georges, eventually I melted through the snow and re-gained grip, that was fun.
