I have clio 16v shocks on my 1.2 with -35mm 16v springs which, from what i've seen lower the car just slightly less than non-16v 55mm springs.

I've recently seen a few pictures of 1.2/1/4's on -55mm non-16v springs and they seem to be running a lot less camber than my car which has got me thinking;

do 16v shocks run more camber than lesser clios as standard or is it just my imagination?

Already on...they came with the shocks. Smile

Everything on mine is 16v but compared with 1.4s i've seen with std shocks and -55mm springs mine is running noticable camber...well thats what i think anyway. Confused

you will have more camber as you've lowered it anyway.

don't know what the standard -ve camber is on a 16v clio wouldn't have thought it would have been more than 1 deg.

might be worth getting it checked properly as well make to make sure its not ott.

Don't see how checking it will help as it can't be adjusted on the std setup?

Looking headon on my car you can really see the camber...the top of the wheels are recessed noticebaly into the arch. From various pics i've seen on CS non-16v lowered setup don't have this...the wheels are pretty much vertical, in line with the arch.

Confused

yours will be lowered differently, wheh the wishbone is horizontal thats the position of max camber.

Also different balljoints can affect it etc.
