i mlooking to change my car in august, most definately looking at a clio or a 19 valver, my question is why do the 19's only seem to fetch half the price that clio 16v do? for that reason i am swaying towards a 19 but i really like both cars in their own way!
any ideas? |

clio is attractive to the younger ned like audience. It also only has an insurance grouping gof 12.
The 19 is a group 15 so the insurance is dear. Its also not as cute as clio etc so not many people want them.
Its like novas and pug 106's, you can get a 1.2 nova for 1200 quid but you could get a cav turbo for 600, you could buy a 405 MI16 for 300 quid but a 106 meridian 1.1 thing will go for over a grand.
Its all down to size and what daddies think their daughters should have for a 1st car basically. |

yeah i know what you mean about neds driving them, ive had quotes on bith as i new the clio was gp12 and the 19 gp 15 but the quotes were only about £50 difference!
Will be on the lookout in a month or so, hopefully i can get one cheaply like you seem to do chris! |

buy mine then!
I get them cheap cos theres problems with them usually, usually no tax or MOT and a few problems. I have had enough of these casrs to have accumulated quite a reserve of spares. |
