Hi people.

Anyone know what is causing my mates J reg 1.8 16v Clio fitted with ABS to rev highly when the brake pedal is pressed? It is jumping from 950rpm to around 1400rpm when the brake pedal is pumped. Any possibility its a split hose?

Mine does this sometimes. Also it drops to 400rpm at times under braking as well.

I've re-earthed the Speedo sensor which has helped it to some degree though.
