What do you all think of THIS?

I'm ususally not too keen of the idea of a GTT engine in a valver, but this one is very tempting. I'd have to find out more about it and what insurance would be though. If the engine has been re-built properly could it be reliable enough running that sort of power? I've seen a lot of people saying that those engines are shit, too old now and unreliable - but I've also seen some people say they are fine as long as you are carefull with not having the boost too high.

So much for me saying I was looking for a non-renault, lol.

lol, I hadn't really looked through the pics in much detail tbh so hadn't noticed that. At the moment I just want to get some more details from the owner and wanted to know if those engines could run that sort of power reliably.

Although I wouldn't pay £1600 for it I do think it would be worth a reasonable amount if it can handle that power for a long time because it's difficult to get any Mk1 Clio with 200bhp for that sort of price, as I would have thought any other clio, if not a gtt, would need to be an F7R with TB's or something like that - which wouldn't be cheap.
