Hi, just wondering if anyone knows whether a lowering kit from a Clio 16v would fit on a 19 16v?
I dont have specifics but can get hold of them if needed.

Also, how much does putting 17 inch rims slow down the car compared to 15's? how much are we talking? a second off the 0-60? is it even noticable?

read your pm's mo fo

and what we talking front or back?

17's you wont notice much if any as the wheels are bigger but tyres smaller so hardly any difference between them or 15's

front mofo.

Yeah, they are the same overall size, lower profile tyres. Just heard so many people saying that it will make it slow as a pig

its not the wheel size that slows the car, its the wheel weight. and yes its noticeable, especially on handling.

depends on the specific wheels though. My 17" OZ superleggeras are significantly lighter than most 15" wheels. In that situation it's only the ride that suffers due to the lower profile tyres.

my 17's are also lighter than the standard 15's, my 17's are almost identical to neal's Oz's but a different brand.

my 19 is lowered 35mm and handles better on the 17's than it did on the 15's at standard ride height

And yeah again, same as neal, ride comfort has been reduced due to the lower profile tyres, can get quite bumpy over badly maintained roads
