the rubber washers help defo mate it basically makes it just tough enough for the fork in the box to move when the push the pedal with out those washers the cable wont work |

just wondering because ain't got the money for a new cable at the mo but i can get some washers and put then on the end on the cable in the engine end |

changed gear oil but still alittle difficult to getting gear i can live with it at the mo. but i can get one from a mates megane coupe or sports can remember which he has |

i gota decent cable you can have it a non ABS 19 16v one it aint no good to me nomore i gota ABS car now its brand spanking new never fitted
oops jus seen you gota an exec so im guessing ABS |
