my clutch wasnt ingaging prooperly when driving unless i change at exact revs which ud change at when driving with no clutch, i figured the ratchet needed adjsuting soo pulld a lengh of cable and it re adjsuted afterwards exactly the same, put a spacer in to see if i could lenghen the clutch cable this way instead and now the ratchet has snappd itself!!!

does this sound like the ratchet was worn out or a clutch problem i ask coz i am due to swap the engine to another car so would it be worth me getting the clutch inspected or is this just a ratchet problem as the clutch held revs fine with no slipping and when foot all the way down on floor wouldnt crunch, one thing i did notice is that if i drove in a gear ie 2nd went to change up it would crunch yet if i pop it into neutral let the revs drop abit then change it was ok what u guys reckon?

clutch is probably draggign slightly but chances are and from what your saying either theres not enough oil in the box or the synchros are dying.
