dunnop if we all recall but when I had the flat rear tyre the back passenger side flooded on the headlining due t the back end on the side beign down about 2 inches. Well I left the chamade up on axle stands.

Yes its fecking swimming.

Am I the only one with this problem? This says to me I can't even park the car on the slightest slope as it will flood out. The sunroof drains are all clear, the hatch never done this. Yet another reason I don't like the chamade.

nah its just my heap o shite. My first chamade, the dreams of happy joy like all my hatches gave shattered.

This car is the most unreliable renault I have ever had.

The old blue hatch before this, so rusted underneath it looked like a shit stain felt more secure on the road despite snapped springs and fecked dampers, went faster, handled better, didn't leak, never broke a mount or anything else. All I had to do was fit a new track rod end to it, no chance of an MOT pass in it fair enough but it never broke, or left me stranded.

What did I do thats so bad, new rack, new mounts, new this that and the other and it still keeps breaking!

Also that pile of wank jack I got with the engine hoist, like every other cheap jack, won't hold a load more than 5 or so seconds, jacking the car up to get the stands under is a race!

well every jack I have had does this. Except my pro quick lift jack I had a few years back but I ain't spending 200 quid on another jack.

Been through the whole bleed procedure etc, no different, every one I have is the same, maybe I always get the dodgy seal jacks!

finding leaks is a pain in the ass ,i had that with the p reg rover 214 i had ,it was the most unreliable car of all times. the boot was soaking wet every morning ,i dry it up it comes again . after investigating the leak for several months ,i found out it was leaking from a very unexpected place on the roof ,underneath those plastic roof rail covers if thats the right term to use?

it must definitely be leaking somewhere around the sunroof and filling the roof with water . cover the sunroof with some plastic and tape and apply water on the sunroof with a hose or smth to see if it happens

Sorry to read about the leak Chris, not good, but my but had a Ph2 16v chamade and it had a major leak problem too, the boot used be swimming every time it rained, i even stripped the lining from the boot area and climb in the boot while someone held a hose over the car, i seem to remember the rear lights hole letting in water Sad

Its the sunroof, thats the prob, lights etc are fine, the cars fine if its dry or its raining but its on flat ground. Other that that the water pours over the rear lip and soaks the headlining.

Anyway today got a new cambelt kit for the laguna as last night we had to jump the orion, that racket the tensioner/idle is makign is terrible.

So to GSF genuine renault (in ren box) cambelt kit for 56quid, full trade discount though.

So need to change that shortly.
