ice on the road is unpredictable unless you have a nice flat even spread ice rink you can't judge the traction from one spot to the other, as you said it could have turned out worse

Right so just because im 17, means i cant handle a powerful car?

Ask chris how i was driving in scotland.

I cant claim from insurance as its only tpft, i'll repair it as much as i can, like try and press the dent out the door, but its more reason to get my 19 back.

From the scotland meet and having been in all the cars Dan was the best driver out of the the 3 of them.

Apart from the bit when we nearly got killed by a sideways LDV mini bus, he was a bit scared then, me its water of a ducks back! lol

End opf the day the same accident or worse could happen in a 1.2 as with a 1.2 you tend to push harder to try and make up for it.

I'm surprised you could get 3rd party on it, most places demand fully comp fr a car less than 5 years old. Simons megane 2l 16V cabrio has to be fully comp, no one will touch it 3rd party.

Most will come out and a new door is easy enough to get a hold of as well.

you shouldn't have hit the sill down.

Get the skirt off and have a look.

Chances are its just a poppe din bit forcing it all up.

It'll pull out mostly I woudl think.

Get the skirt off and show us pics.

it was deffo 10mph when the back end slid out, but like you say live and learn.

easily done, hehe. got the 19 in a spin this morning round a roundabout at 5:30 am
I knew it was likely to be icey so crawled round it in 2nd at about 15mph and she still span, could not boot it out of the spin, too icey, wheels just span, so corrected the skid until i got grip again, all of 5 seconds it took from spin to going straight again, was fun hehe

And Chris, i don't mind driving in this kind of weather at all, used to love hacking my old xr3i about in the snow (back in the day when we got decent amounts of the stuff)

Shit the wife went jogging the other day and trashed the Pug s16 on a concrete post.

The plastic looks straight. But the sill is holding the car together on a Clio.

This is my old Baccara after it got rammed 4 years ago

The guy wanted to post a letter before the post office closed.
Knocked the car around so quick it broke the stub axel off on the curb.
tried to accelerate though -missed-

Shit happens.

At least noboddy was hurt.

In both accidents
