 cutting the exhaust

as it was not too bad outside today i went out to sort that thing i should have done ages ago. got my jigsaw with me and started cutting that gay/bent bit of the exhaust pipe ,could not do the whole job in one go as the jigsaw was ferked ,will get there soonest .

got a hacksaw? hadr work but they ar elow tech so dont break!...and u can take the blade out to make it easier to get in small places too....

actually i managed to cut almost half of it with a blade but need to change the blade now as it does not seem to be working anymore . yes i will have to take the blade out at some point . and the bumper needs a bit of cutting too ,got to do it neatly though .

i am not sure if i will need a heat shield after as this thingy has a big diameter which wont touch the sides of the original pipe ,so i dont think it will get that hot. will see after running a few times

didnt realise what that thing was at first, thought it was the bit you cut off. Was thinking "damn this guy is some kind of a god with a jigsaw to get it done like that" Smile

job done today ,my back pipe is not gay anymore it took me 2 hours to cut the rest of the pipe ,the bumper and stick the bolt on one on. it looks good comparing what it was before .will take photos tomorrow if anyone is interested ?

while checking the operation of the back pipe after ,i found out a small leak on the box itselfits very tiny but lets some exhaust gases out ,will have to use some exhaust paste on it i suppose?

or a tiny blob of weld on the hole would sort it depending on why its there,

i gave the car a good wash and a good old t-cut,looks shiny now .
