hi folks last yr changed my dial ion my 97 maxim s, to white dials, now there is a burning look coming thru i took the dash apart on sat checked all bulbs etc behind and they are fine, could it be sumthing with the electrics???? ps my oil tempo gage isnt working either grrr

white dials eventually go yellow/brown due to direct heat of the bulbs ,sun etc

take them off and bin them.

Its a common problem and we managed to scam a few out of lockwood a coupel of years back due to it even though we never bought a set.

I have them on mine, they are still white as white.

there was a dodgy batch, the non dodgy batch ones are fine aside from the question of taste!

theyre crap discoloured in no time and the glue heeats up and makes the needles stick and u have to take apart the dash to glue them again, super glue isnt wat it used to be
