 Diagnostic plug and light

Hi all, can you tell me where the diagnostic plug is on a ph1 19 16v? and is there some way other than a trip to renault to find out if somethings wrong with it? the light on the dash doesnt come on at all... checked the bulb thats fine. just wondered cos its running really rich, prob lambda sensor but wanted to make sure... thanks Smile

I have yet to see a ph1 make the light come on.

diagnostic port is in the fuse box and yes renault.

so in a nutshell i have nothing to worry about unless it does come on? is there any way of testing a lambda sensor? thanks Smile

You could with an xrd...

Multimeter too perhaps but i have no idea of the voltage range

yeah you can do it with a multimeter, but if its running rich I would always go for the CTS.

ive already replaced the CTS, maybe needs a good run as its not on the road yet due to an endless list of jobs... just put a new engine in, now just a little tidying of rust then it should be ready for an mot. thanks Smile
