This is what I get when I try to install it. This happens on the 3rd/4th page on the 1st disc. Any ideas?

it is basically a new one,. its a new harddrive. it needs formatted etc but we ain;t shelling out for XP again!

also no copy we get works.

me to, just tried to insrtal it anyway, get java problems or something, this is why I no longe rhave dialogies! I miss them Crying or Very sad

Have you seen the Rover 'Rave' equivalent / technical manual CDs?

Bloody amazingly good in comparison!

Have you installed all the components before installing the dialogies? like the latest Sun Java one and the Quicktime ones as well. I'll send you through a copy of mine to see if it's different. Mine wouldn't work on my desktop but they work on my laptop and server. It has to be a file support thing.

bring em with you when you pop through mate, much easier and you can install em Very Happy

Strange! Mine won't work since I rebuilt my laptop! Chris, when you try to reinstall XP are you doing a full format and clean install?

not on this machine as its not working on the other pc i'm trying.

none of the discs work on mine, this one doesn;t recognise the discs, my cousins pc don't work with em either.

Here's the info from my dialogies on how to install, which files you need etc.Some of it refers to the files specific to my cd: -

Install the following programs in full: -
Adobe Acrobat (at least ver4)
Java Runtime 1.2
Full Quicktime (at least ver4)

yeah all the dialogies cd's have them and yo uneed to install em

It's cool,i was gonna post more info but then i remembered i was thinking of vauxhall TIS cd's which are a bit trickier. Will bring the ren ones through with me.

mine i bought dont work, all i get is a white screen in a java window.

try running it from the bat file in the dialogies directory

I have to run mine from there, if i use the desktop shortcut i get the same as you Dan

lol, a torch with thomas the tank engine, silouette on a torch and when its turned on it gives the shape of a train!
