A: Sadly not, the material this sheild is made from will not add any power increase on your car, however the item itself could be said to increase the chances of keeping the power the car already has by preventing water in the spark plug well leading to misfires and a very slow jumpy car. I guess we could run some tests on retro-renault to see if the angle the sheild is mounted at on the strut brace would aid or impede under bonnet airflow and find the optimum angle to get that 0.000001% of reduction on the drag caused by varying temperatures and air pressures so as to maximise your driving pleasure Smile
