If you can relax enuf to use an armrest you're not driving fast enuf!! Laughing

TBH I'd quite like one but if I'm honest I don't do enuf long haul driving to warrant it anymore.

Well if I'm driving fast I tend to have both hands on the wheel. If I'm driving long journeys then it's nice to have one there to relax a bit.

In response to the boyra bit....well ok I drive like a bit of a twat sometimes but don't we all.

being a boy racer is not about driving fast matey ,its about driving like a twat cruising around town gagging for a race with anything else around.

i do drive fast at times but at the right time and place

Well in that case I'm definitely not a boy ra. And much like yourself I only rag it when I feel it's safe to do so although there's always a risk.

How's the chammy handle in this weather? Is it a bit more stable in the wet and that cos of the longer wheelbase?

Longer wheelbase than what?

Chamade wheelbase is identical to the hatch if thats what you mean, and if anything its less 'stable' because its got a longer heavier rear end

I meant compared to the hatch. Dunno waht made me think it was a longer wheelbase I just assumed.

I never had a chammy and the hatch seems a bit twichy in the wet sometimes (weather that's the car or my driving I dunno) I was just curious more than anything else. I was kinda thinking that a chammy would be nice for getting passengers in and out but didn't know what the handling was like.

Reading the posts back I'm being quite bitchy today so I appologise in advance Wink

I get the feeling it's cos I have toyos on the front and p700 on the back. There seems to be a fair bit of difference in the grip levels on the front and back. Embarassed Having said that it may have been the dodgy rear beam causing probs, haven't test driven it since changing the beam yet so I guess I'll find out soon.

Do you know the road that goes between Ansty and Burgess Hill.

Well I have a video somewhere of.........someone (ahem) ragging it down there in a 19 16v. I may post it at some point. I'll make sure there is nothing to identify/incriminate the driver ..........whoever it is (ahem) and post it if OK Very Happy
