right, i need to get the passenger door of my ph2 19 16v, its buggered basicly so have another one to go one.
so i have removed the door card and door stay, disconnected the wiring plug and gone to check the door hinges, now the haynes (book of lies) says they are pins but on mine they most defo are not pins, they are threaded, i can see the threads also on the new door ready to go on.
now the bolt heads do not look like torx and none of my torx heads fit them, what tool is needed to unbolt these ?

They are torx mate, unless it's not a standard pin.
yes they have a thread but its only on part of the pin to lock it in place, once it's been undone you can hammer it out with a punch. |

T40 is a good fit.
You can use a punch to knock it out if you want but you can also do it with a screw driver mate. They tend to free up very easy.
Just make sure you use a jack or some blocks to support the door first. |

ouch punch will fuck it up as there are screwed in...you would have to beat it out against the thread... |

well i am gonna order in 2 new pins before i remove the door, dont want to risk putting the old ones back in, the bottom pin looks manageled enough already, i have a feeling that door has been off before by the looks of the state of the pins.
bottom one looks to be rounded off too, wonderful, so to get that out, cut a groove in the top and try to turn it with a screwdriver or bang a socket on it ? |

The intention was to undo the thread first JB, after that you punch them out anyway. |

right got my new door pins today and u guys are right with the T40, nice one!
however . . the pins on my door are fuckered!
that is the top pin and is not so bad and i reckon i will be able to get it to shift
but this one
totally mullered, t40 just slips in it 
so what do you reckon, try and cut a slot in it and screwdriver it out or try to bang a small socket on it ? |

try banning a allen key in it, if that don't work then cut a notch in it and see it will come that way.
Ust shed loads of WD40 as they look a bit rusty. |

happens a lot. Only method I dfond that works is grind through the doors hinged part (scrapping the fdorr) then grind the hinge down so it falls and lifts off. |

remember the the pin on the boot lid of the red hatch snapped wat a laugh that was 
granted its nothing 2 do with the post but just thot id chip that one in, one for the memory bank! |

yeh that was a real fuk-up even tried heating them up but packed it in once the paint on the other side of the door started heating up......phew!
